I'm glad you found me! I hope you continue to check in, to view my postings, so that you are able to stay current with what is happening with the UCC Synod.
I was nominated and elected to serve as a youth delegate to the 2007 and 2009 synods. The Twenty-sixth General Synod which will be part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the United Church of Christ will be held in Hartford, Connecticut. The Synod will officially convene on Friday afternoon, June 22nd and will adjourn on Tuesday evening, June 26th following the closing worship.
I've never been, so anything I report about the actual events of the Synod from here until then will be based simply on speculation. However, I promise that when I get there I will report every detail for those of you who will be unable to travel to Connecticut so that you will feel as if you are actually there.

Thanks so much for this blog! Are there any efforts to get more youth to attend the Synod? When will you know the main issues to be discussed and decided?
